ago it seems! It was our first trip to the Big Bend together! I was so afraid my new bride wouldn't have the passion I did for the area. But she did and I didn't wreck her fathers pickup which he had warily lent me, although I came pretty close on Black Gap "road". I proved to her there that warning signs are for smart people! We stopped at a little cafe in Ft Stockton on the way back, solely because of the wagon wheel windows! I cant remember the food but- her there, across the table, has always been the most exciting thing about any trip we've made!
