I went for a walk alone, the night before we were supposed to fly from Bejing to Nanning and meet our daughter to start the adoption process. It was from a hotel at the airport, quite a ways outside the main part of Bejing, not much around but a little district where airport workers lived and a street lined with small shops! I bought Renee' a yellow rose in one and something that looked like a thick tortilla with meat from a street vendor cooking them over a charcoal fire! It was delicious and the smile I got from the vendor was so genuine! It was snowing. I doubt that a guest had ever ventured outside the hotels gated and fenced compound! Everything felt so right.
I was born in Texas and have lived here all my life.I have been taking photographs for more than sixty years. I have been married for forty-six years. I have been a father for twenty-two years.I still have the second camera and the second car I ever bought. A Miranda G and a 65Mustang.
