The only ride that I noticed at Disneyland that had counters to measure the number of people coming OFF it was It's A Small World! I don't know if that was because some riders frequently dove overboard to get THAT SONG out of their head or what?
There had to be some way to work in a picture of the mouse ears, and this is what I came up with. I wish I had both of my daughters hands in the roller coaster image---- she had them up!All the time! I just couldn't keep in control enough to frame any better! And she would have ridden the various coasters all day for five days! She is fearless!
Back from Disney Land and thats so true.... All thats left are the BIG GRINS, lots of great memories and no money. And the bills, which will likely linger for quite a long time!
As close as they came to Disneyland was the fact that all wore white shirts and black pants. But they could play, and did, roaming the streets and markets of Nuevo Laredo back when it was safe to walk around with no fear of being caught in the drug dealers gunfire.
I'm sure thinking that won't be a problem, drug dealers warring, in Disneyland but I doubt that we will hear the same heartfelt music and I know that we won't be able to wander in off the street for some fresh grilled cabrito.
Santa Fe, and the quiet serenity of the courtyard of the Museum of Art with its marvelous fountain. After "shopping" for hours, or minutes, I could escape there and watch the light play on the adobe. Hallie likes Santa Fe, but more so the fun of the Childrens Museum. And its her turn now. So this spring it wont be Tia Sophias for green chile stew and sopapillas, or the museum courtyard for reflection but DISNEYLAND! I do see from the guide books that they have tacos there, I wonder if they will have green chile stew-- preferably hot enough to make my bald head sweat!
