I Found This

 section of tree cut down by a beaver and already stripped of bark in a remote part of the Gila Wilderness in 1986. I was backpacking with my brother and had absolutely no idea how useful a hiking staff could be! But it fit my hand and height so perfectly i took it along for the rest of that journey! Thirty-five years later it has been my companion on so many miles through the outdoors. The only change I made was to add a brass cap to the ground end so it wouldnt get splintered or worn down. What wonderful memories!

Renee' got this series of marks on her car windshield when she took her mother to a drive through vaccination site. I got to enjoy them when we ate burgers in the car a few days later!
