I'm Afraid the Dog Days

 of August 2020 are going to be remembered for a lot worse things than just the heat.

August 21

 For tomorrow! For 14 years we spent the day between our birthdays August 21 out in the Big Bend Of Texas! Not this year or likely again, shes near bigger but not any less beautiful mountains at college in Colorado! Taken 8-21-2003, she was about to turn two!

Dont Give UP!

It feels like we've been going backwards forever! And like we will never reach a spot where we can feel safe again! Or rest peacefully! Whats worse is that so often now we feel completely alone, abandoned! A great Texas songwriter wrote the words........

To live is to fly, both low and high

So shake the dust off of your wings

And the tears out of your eyes!

It is up to each one of us to live them....... or lie down in the dust and drown in our tears.
