A Star in the East

And in the East a star appeared to guide them....
It must be Christmas, yesterday was Thanksgiving- last week the tree lots appeared- stores opened this morning at five am for the shoppers-there were professional football games, parades, and even a free meal for the homeless.
What will guide us this year? Not this picture, it's a photograph of a sunset over a pig farm.

The Shed

We have pretty much finished our "shed" and we are pleased with it. For me particularly the light, both natural and artifical. I enjoy watching it move and change- interacting with the different surface textures. Take that at the same time you are enjoying great music from the stereo system we've installed and time just slips by,pleasantly, but still too fast!

My Mother and My Daughter

I took this a little over two years ago, Mother was 82 and Hallie 3. They have both aged so much in these last two years but it is still so wonderful to watch Mother drop her many years, if only for a shorter peroid each time, as she holds Hallie.
