Not So Happy!

 The file number on this image tells me it was made on a trip to Philadelphia one summer vacation with our daughter. This is not her! We were in line to see the Liberty Bell and the two had been exchanging glances, I thought preparatory to starting a conversation. But when I turned my camera on them and took a picture I got this look! Stay Out of my world!  I did, except for this image.

 Today nearly ten years later, I'm wrestling with whether to show another image I recently took. Much like this, taken innocently but of subjects who might have a genuine objection to being in the photograph. In the current situation I really didn't intend to photograph people but thought it would be an image of something else.

  I've reached out for advice from several sources but there seems to be no general consensus.  And I have no way to contact the actual persons.

  Ah decisions! On a side note about a year later my daughter told me, Dad you've been taking pictures of me for twelve years. Thats enough! 

  I've "sort of" respected that!
 

As I Was Editing This Image From Our Iowa Trip

I had the idea- What If we treated our idea of the USA more like a round barn? No sides just one big circle, inclusive of all types of opinion? Now our country's flag, enlarged from the wagon in front of the barn, has sides- and there absolutely nothing wrong with that. But so many today are fervent in the belief that ONLY their side could be correct on issues. And I just dont believe that was the founding fathers idea at all! I am certain they knew there were opposing ideas then and thats why they decided to create a system of checks and balances in our unique government to keep us  from becoming all pushed to one side or the other. And its worked pretty good for quite some time. But its NOT NOW! Like any barn does over time, round, square, or rectangular it has grown filled with manure and its time for us to find a positive way to clean it out! AND THAT will require cooperation and compromise!

  And by the way, while I'm pretty sure my "brand" of politics is pretty different from most of the people we met in Iowa, They were all pretty nice!
 

What Happened??

  to Thanksgiving AND the coming of Fall???  because people are already putting up Christmas lights and Hallmark started playing "" Christmas Movies"" two weeks ago! How Time Flies!

Wow! October went by in the blink of an eye!

We finally managed to get out for an RV trip! And it went well, with only minor mechanical problems! As soon as I finish editing pictures??? I'm going to post a few! Until then Go Vote!!!
